🪶The story behind the Salt: This Aegean sea salt is harvested from the historic Çamaltı Saltworks near Izmir, Turkey — the largest and oldest active saltworks in the region. Located beside the Izmir Bird Paradise, this coastal ecosystem is home to halophilic plants, brine shrimp, and migratory flamingos whose presence reflects the purity of the surrounding wetlands.
